A long time resident of Woking Christine is a Home Energy Advisor, and worked in Civil Engineering for many years. Her work and interest in green development means she supports schemes that help householders and businesses to reduce energy costs while improving sustainability. Outside work she has taken part in numerous local campaigns including one against the tower blocks because of their size, number and failure to meet local need.
She wants a reduction in the impact of council services on local environments and biodiversity while factoring this into planning decisions. Finally, Christine believes in flood mitigation measures like SUD schemes, diversion, improved drainage and tree planting.
